Everyone loves French fries! Crispy, hot, salty, with or without sauce, as a snack or an entire meal, absolutely delicious! However, how often do you skip ordering French fries at Mc Donald’s or decide not to prepare them at home because they are greasy and full of calories? Deep fried potatoes, no matter how yummy and vegan, are simply not healthy. In order to enjoy snacks and eat them all the time, we need to prepare them the right way!
Taking this into account, we created a recipe for baked French fries. Sweet and salty, flavored to perfection, this French fries recipe is literally one of the best yam ideas out there. Thus it is not a surprise that it becomes a favorite after only one bite! As a side dish to meat, fish, fresh salad or a nutritious snack with a dip of choice, it is an unbeatable alternative to standard, fried French fries.
– 2 sweet potatoes
– 2 tbsp. olive oil
– 1/2 tsp. Himalayan salt
– 1/3 tsp. black pepper
– 1/3 paprika powder (spicy or regular)
1. Chop the sweet potato into thin sticks, similar to French fries.
2. Season with salt, pepper and paprika, sprinkle with oil and bake in heated oven at 220 degrees until golden brown.
3. Serve hot and crisp with dip of choice.
