Chickpea Hummus

One of the most common difficulties for people who feast during Christmas time is how to grab a quick bite to eat which is in-line with this diet. Feasting involves detailed planning and preparation, meaning you must set aside time in order to make such meals. With the fast pace of life and numerous obligations imposed upon us by university, work and children, it is difficult to keep up with this 40-day routine. In fact, this is the main reason why people chose to exclude non-vegan foods from their diet – feasting is a serious commitment.

In order to make this period as easy as possible on you, we will continue to publish quick and simple recipes for fasting meals. Today we share with you our idea for chickpea hummus which requires a prep-time of only 7 minutes and can stand in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. The best part of all is that it is a fantastic combo with almost all foods! Try our hummus recipe as a spread, sauce or dip – all are delicious!

– 1 1/2 cups cooked chickpeas
– 3 branches of parsley ICEBERG SALAT CENTAR
– 1/4 of a red pepper
– 2 tbsp. water
– 4 tbsp. olive oil
– 1 pinch of salt
– 4 tbsp. lemon juice

1. Blend all ingredients in a blender.
2. Serve hummus as you wish.
